Accepting Cozy Purple Unicorn Donations
Donations of hats & gloves (in sizes, adult & teen, male/female; not child size) will be collected in Trinity’s Welcome Center in memory of Emma Schaub, who passed away at the age of 11 from Mitochondrial Disease. These donations will go to the patrons of the food pantry in Greentree which is organized by the Unity Presbyterian Church, where Emma volunteered. Donations will be accepted until Sunday, November 9.

Fall Soup Sale
Trinity Troopers is having its Fall Soup Sale to raise funds for the American Cancer Society. Orders may be placed through November 9; soup will be ready for pickup on Sunday, November 16.
Flavors available ($8 per quart): Broccoli Cheese (vegetarian), Ham & Bean (gluten free), Chicken Noodle, Tortellini, Wedding, and Zucchini (gluten free; spicy). Order sheets are in the Welcome Center. You can pay when you order or when you pick up your soup. Please make checks payable to Gail Lynn.

Financial Seminar

When we pass on, have we prepared our families and loved ones for how to pay our taxes find passwords, or plan our funeral? Learn all of this and more at the upcoming seminar in the Welcome Center. Operation Christmas Child
Help a child in need! There are several ways you can join in this mission project with Samaritan’s Purse: Pick up and pack a shoebox, give money to shipping costs, build a shoebox online, or pray for this project daily. Shoeboxes to pack are available starting in October in the Welcome Center.

Advent Devotional
Advent means coming or approach, and as Christians, this is a time for us to remember Christ coming into our lives. We are seeking anyone willing to share a favorite devotion, personal prayer or reflection that will be compiled as an Advent Devotional to be shared with our Trinity Church Family to help in our preparation and remembrance during Advent. Please submit your devotion to Eileen Glass or in hard copy in the Church no later than Sunday, November 9.

November Mission Offerings
The Greater Washington County Food Bank & Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program For over 43 years, The Greater Washington County Food Bank, a non-profit organization, has been providing groceries and nutritional information/education to food insecure residents of Washington County. To contribute to the Food Bank, please make checks payable to Trinity UMC with a note on the memo line for The Greater Washington County Food Bank.
Again this year, our Angel Tree will be supporting the Salvation Army’s drive to provide Christmas presents to needy families in the Greater Pittsburgh and Washington areas. Each tag will have a child’s name and a wish for a special present. We will place the tags in the Welcome Center on Nov. 16. The unwrapped presents will be collected on Sunday, Nov. 30. Gifts will be delivered on Wednesday, Dec. 3. This program brings holiday joy to thousands of needy children during the Christmas season. Thank you for helping a child have a Merry Christmas.

Since our start in 1958, Trinity United Methodist Church has been in ministry to our community with the intention of connecting people to God through Jesus Christ. We continue to make connections today, through a variety of worship services, service projects, and spiritual development opportunities. Trinity has a multigenerational ministry, serving families through our Preschool, Sunday School, and Youth Ministries, as well as serving adults of all ages through our various small group gatherings, Bible Studies, and community groups. We worship together every Sunday morning at our family-oriented, informal service at 9:30, and our traditional worship service at 11:00.
